McDonald's has previously created its own "National Breakfast Day" promotion and wanted to strengthen its association with morning, making it the place for people to go for breakfast. With DDB Singapore's creativity, The Marketing Store developed the McDonald's Suprise Alarm App, which rewarded people with McDonald’s food coupons, lucky draw tickets and other prizes - every time they set their app alarm. The App has run across Singapore, Taiwan and Australia in the last years since 2014.
