Monkee is a Hong Kong based designer who was born and raised in Macau. While Jan, a local Hongkonger, travels frequently between Macau and Hong Kong for work’s sake. In this intricate situation, some mutual thoughts between them have set off this project. The zine depicts the cultural difference between Hong Kong and Macau by their own observation. Every spread tells a particular topic and could be seen as two posters of a set at the same time: “Macau in Hongkonger’s eye” and “Hong Kong in Macau people’s eye”.
